GotItBack
For Instagram & Facebook

Hacked or disabled? Get your account back, without waiting for a human.

Answer 5 quick questions. Get a step-by-step plan for your exact case, using Meta's own official recovery routes, plus an appeal letter written for you.

  • Only Meta's official pages
  • We never ask for your password
  • Money-back promise

How it works

Three steps. About 10 minutes to get going.

1

Tell us what happened

Hacked, disabled, suspended, locked out, lost 2FA, or someone pretending to be you. And what you still have: email, phone, ID, a logged-in device.

2

Get your plan

The right official Meta routes in the right order, with direct links. The first steps are free, right away.

3

Send your appeal & follow the days

Copy your ready-made appeal letter, then follow a day-by-day checklist and know what to do when Meta replies.

The honest part. Nobody but Meta can restore an account, and nobody honest can promise you that Meta will. GotItBack is an independent guide, not part of Meta. What we do: put the official routes that exist in the right order for your case, write your appeal, and keep you on track. If it doesn't help, you get your money back.

Questions

My Instagram account was hacked. What do I do first?
Protect the email account linked to Instagram (new password and 2-step verification), then look in that inbox for Instagram's "your email was changed" message. It often has a link to undo the change. Then use Instagram's official page, instagram.com/hacked, from a phone you've used before. Our free quiz gives you the exact order for your case.
Facebook disabled my account and there's no human support. What can I do?
Log in and look for the option to disagree with the decision or request a review. Facebook says you can appeal a suspension within 180 days; after that, or after a failed appeal, the account is permanently disabled. Write a calm, specific appeal (we write one for you), and use Meta's AI support assistant in the Help Center. Some people also use Meta Verified to reach support. Results vary.
Can GotItBack get my account back for me?
No, and nobody honest can promise that. Only Meta can restore an account. GotItBack gives you the right official steps for your situation, a well-written appeal letter, a day-by-day plan, and what to do with each reply. You do the steps yourself, on Meta's own pages.
Are you part of Meta, Instagram or Facebook?
No. GotItBack is an independent guide. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Meta Platforms, Instagram or Facebook. Every link in your plan goes to Meta's own website.
Will you ask for my password or login codes?
Never. Nobody needs your password to help you, and anyone who asks for it (or for a login code) is trying to take your account. Our quiz only asks what happened and what you still have.
What about "recovery hackers" who say they can get my account back?
Don't pay them. People who DM, comment or advertise "account recovery" are very often scammers. They take the money and disappear, or take your account again. Only Meta can restore an account, through its own pages.
