Facebook account disabled and no human support? What actually works
The hardest part of a disabled Facebook account is the silence. There's no phone number, and the emails are automatic. Here's what you can actually do.
The official appeal (and the 180-day clock)
Facebook says: log in and you'll be prompted to appeal the suspension. You can appeal within 180 days. If you don't, or if the appeal fails, the account is permanently disabled and you can't request another review.

Write a calm, specific appeal
An automated review reads a lot of angry appeals. Yours should be short: who you are, how long you've had the account, what you think happened (a mistake, a hack, a misunderstanding), and that you can confirm your identity. If you were hacked first, say so clearly. We write this letter for you in the full plan.
Meta's AI support assistant
Facebook's help pages now show "Chat with Meta AI support assistant" under "Other ways to get help". It's worth trying, and pasting your short appeal there.
What about Meta Verified?
Meta Verified is a paid Meta subscription that includes account support. People report mixed results: for some it led to real help, others say support couldn't do anything for a disabled account. If you try it, know what you're paying for and that you can cancel. We don't sell it and we don't get anything for mentioning it.
What to avoid
- "Recovery services" that promise results for a fee. Meta is the only one that can restore an account.
- Opening a new account to get around the disable: Meta lists evading enforcement as a reason for disabling accounts.
- Messages saying "appeal here or your account will be deleted". Usually phishing: Protect yourself from phishing on Facebook
